     Joining FCCLA gives you many benefits! Members can learn leadership skills, time management, cooperation, and more. Joining FCCLA also gives you many traveling apportunities.

I have become a member, now what?

  Now that you are a member you can do many things! You can do a STAR project. Run for chapter, district, state, and national office. Participate in national programs, and attend several conferences. 

WHAT IS A "STAR" PROJECT?

 STAR stands for Students Taking Action with Recognition. A STAR project is a competitive event where members can compete individually or as a team at district, state, and national level. Any member can do a STAR project. The best thing about STAR is that there is something for everyone.

I want to become a member! how do i join?

    Students in grades 7-12 grade can join FCCLA during any time of the school year. However if you join late, you might not get a chapter t-shirt. You can also go to membership night which is at the beginning of the school year. To become a member, fill out a membership, health information, and code of conduct form. 

How much are dues?

These are the dues member have to pay to join:

  • National dues: $9.00

  • State dues: $4.00

  • District dues:  $2.00

  • Local dues: $1.00

  • Chapter t-shirt dues: $10.00

  • District Leadership Conference registration: $9.00

  Total: $35.00
