Family and Consumer Sciences

what is FCS?

Family and Consumer Sciences Education helps prepare students for family life and work life in today's society. There are a variety of FCS classes that teach essential life skills for young men and women. FCS classes include nutrition, education, psychology, finances, culinary arts, health, and more!

Sadie Heckert (Sophomore)-"I learned about the development and life cycle of a child, through infancy to elementary."

Lesly Luna-Duran (Senior) - "While I was taking Senior Strats, I learned a lot of things from learning how to reconcile my checkbook to filing taxes. I also learned how to fill out an application when trying to rent a home. Senior Strats showed me a lot. It is preparing me for real life skills."
