why join FCCLA

Joining our chapter will give many benefits. You will be able to help your community, add to your college application, compete in STAR, and have many other opportunities! By joining, you can be recognized at the local, district, state, and national levels.

Why did members join our chapter?

  • Haddi Heckert (7th grader) - "I joined because my sisters convinced me to." 

  • Wyatt Olson (7th grader) - "I joined because I wanted a new experience."

  • Leonardo Luna-Duran (8th grader) - "I joined because my sister convinced me to."

  • Raina Le (8th grader) - "I joined because I wanted to be in more activities."

  • Andrea Maldonado (Freshman) - "I joined to meet new friends."

  • Shilo Shabram (Freshman) - "I joined to add something to my college applications and to compete."

  • Vanessa Parra (Sophomore) - "I joined because I had friends in FCCLA that wanted me to join and I thought it would be a good opportunity to become more active in my community."
